An Amsterdam-based hospitality platform building omni-channel order and payment infrastructure for restaurants, bars, hotels, and venues. Wedge: data sovereignty.


Problem

Real product, weak story. The deck read as a feature list. The holding structure with separate verticals was hard to explain in one slide. Investors pattern-matched fast against a category graveyard. Operations needed tightening before the materials could be written honestly.

Early-stage infrastructure companies simplify the external story to one sentence and force every slide to defend it. AI is increasingly used to rewrite copy and messaging against raw customer data. The closest measured analogues are in consumer personalisation, where the 'sharper story, told specifically' pattern shows up in case after case.


Our approach

Consulting first, design second. Mapped the business end to end: every vertical, the holding structure in practice, where processes were clean and where they were not. Rewrote the company story around a single wedge (businesses are forced to adapt to their ordering systems, when the ordering system should adapt to the business) and rebuilt the deck through four full revisions with that wedge driving every slide. Redesigned the website around the same narrative. Ran investor and customer rehearsals.
